Laboratory Safety

The Environmental Health & Safety Office is responsible for conducting regularly scheduled, quarterly, inspections for the purpose of identifying conditions and/or practices that are potential safety hazards. A completed Building Inspection Checklist for each building will be kept on file in the Environmental Health & Safety Office for one year. To ensure campus safety, any hazards found will be reported to Facility Services for proper corrections.

The Environmental Health & Safety Office offers training, which includes laboratory and radiation safety classes, quarterly safety meetings, safe driving classes, DOT classes and any other safety related topics deemed necessary.
